The Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia has announced the launch of a new online visa application system, which became operational on September 1, 2025, and will be fully enforced starting September 15, 2025.
Accordingly, the country has already started accepting passengers traveling to Somali airports who are in possession of an online visa. Applicants can submit their applications through: https://evisa.gov.so.
